Hello! My name is Violeta (pronounced Vee-oh-let-ah). I graduated with Honors from the University of Alberta Dental Hygiene program in 1994 and have worked continuously in the dental field ever since.

My dental experiences as a child were not the greatest, and as such, I have had anxiety as a dental patient for many years. My goal is to make sure that YOUR dental visit with me is relaxed – informative – and pain-free. I take great pride in being gentle, a good listener and thorough at the same time.

Over the years, I have accumulated extensive knowledge in many areas of dentistry, such as endodontics ( root canals), prosthodontics ( crown and bridge), cosmetic dentistry, and of course, periodontics ( the health and management of the supporting structures of the teeth), which is where my clinical expertise lies.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my menagerie of pets - 3 dogs, 2 cats and 7 fish! I also play tennis; volunteer for various animal rescue organizations, and practice yoga and meditation.
